Many homes and businesses in Louisville lost water service — or at least saw a drop in water pressure — after a water main break Tuesday morning. According to Kelley Smith. vice president of communications and marketing for Louisville Water Co., a 48-inch water main near Clay and Oak streets in Shelby Park broke a little after 7:30 a.m., spilling millions of gallons of water onto surface streets.
